Great success in Szenttamási

The 3-year-old English imported mare from Szenttamási Stable Miss Turpan became one of the big favourites the Hungarian Derby.

The chestnut mare won her first race, but was noticed after her second run, when she easily beat her rivals on the 1600 meter long Patriot Award. Her career did not stop then, because Miss Turpan showed her best form on next race too. One month later after the first race she participated on the Alagi Award and was far ahead not only of her mare opponents, but also stallions: she won the race by a head to Mr. Bass Serbian super favourite stallion.

Miss Turpan is so far unbeaten, and due to her enormous top speed, she has become a favourite of one of the biggest competition – the 93. Hungarian Derby.
“Miss Turpan’s preparation is going well. Her calm, balanced nature and good appetite are essentials of a classic racing horse; additionally it is combined with the excellent and outstanding stayer and top speed. She has all the positive qualities that are necessary to win the race. Her jockey is going to be Danny Brock, with whom she won the Patriot award”- told Szabolcs Szuna, Miss Turpan’s trainer.
