China Railway Signal & Communication Co.Ltd. (CRSC) and the cooperation agreement signed by MÁV-REC Ltd. provide a great opportunity for in-depth cooperation between the two parties.
The Chinese company CRSC was founded in 1953 and has become a world-renowned player in railway control and monitoring systems during the recent decades. CRSC has contributed a total of 139,000 kilometers in general railway and 35,000 kilometers of high-speed rail in China.
The bilateral co-operation between the governments of Hungary and China is excellent. Both countries have done much in the recent years to deepen the “One Belt, One Road” initiative. This initiative also provides a framework for the promotion of the CELIZ project, which aims to modernize the railway infrastructure between the two countries in Záhony of eastern Hungary.
With its comprehensive experience and state-of-the-art technology, CRSC will be able to contribute to the implementation of the CELIZ project in the field of railway equipment, and MÁV-REC will see exactly what opportunities exist in the region thanks to its regional influence and local knowledge. CELIZ can become a model for cooperation between the two countries. Its importance will greatly contribute to the quality development of rail freight traffic between China and the Central-Eastern European region.
