A Hungarian holding company will teach Kazakh farmers

Péter Nagy, commercial director of L.A.C. holding and Toleutay Rahimbekov, chairman of the „Agrokompetence” program, launched by the National Chamber of Enterpreneurs of Kazakhstan, signed a respective memorandum of understanding

 

The L.A.C. Holding Zrt. unites more than 50 companies and has a vast experience in realization of agricultural projects, including agricultural tutional events, training and retraining of personnel and other  programs . The company employs numerous specialists with decade-long experience in agriculture, training future farmers.

 

„According to the Memorandum, we plan to jointly organize educational programs. Our goal is to introduce farmers to the latest agricultural technologies. This agreement will contribute to the development of Kazakh-Hungarian economical relationships and to farmers of the both countries getting to know each other better” – said Toleutay Rahimbekov, chairman of the „Agrocompetnce” program.


The parties already cooperate in this field: recently László Hajdú, a Hungarian corn-seed specialist, visited Kazakhstan as part of the educational project, who assisted in developing kazakh research programs, held a nember of lectures and consultations for kazakh farmers.

 

„We have long-term plans in cooperation with Kazakhstan, and are eager to contribute to the development of kazakh agriculture. Our country has a substantial potential in agricultural education, we have serious specialists, and, as we know, proper education is the foundation of everything, let it be agriculture or something else. We are grateful for the opportunity to participate in this program. We hope, that our cooperation will contribute to the citizens and farmers of our countries, to get to know each other better” – said András Baranyai, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Hungary in Kazakhstan.
